As a Field Solutions Architect - F5, you will enhance CDW's presence, market share, and revenue growth in the Advisory / Management Consulting market. Specifically, you will execute the full sales lifecycle for enterprise Advisory related projects - strategic account planning, researching, prospecting, relationship-building, partnering with software vendors, and opportunity identification, pursuit, and closure, as well as all aspects of account growth.

Your skilled experience will enable you to quickly embrace CDW's integrated sales approach, demonstrating the ability to open further opportunities for our other service offerings, including, but not limited:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support sales strategies (geography and/or market segment) to establish technical credibility and solution awareness within CDW, F5 and customers.
  • Respond to sales to pursue and assist in finding and closing security opportunities.
  • Provide "Why F5" to CDW Executives, Managers, Sales and Presales.
  • Delivers compelling and convincing presentations addressing customer requirements and expectations.
  • Effectively links the technical features and functions of F5 solutions with tangible business benefits that meet customer challenges.
  • Demonstrates expert technical skills in assigned area of F5 specialization. Identify key decision makers and drive in closing the first sale.
  • Demonstrates expert consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
  • Has successfully completed knowledge-based as well as one or more experienced-based industry certifications.
  • Project management knowledge or experience with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.
  • Business and financial acumen, with an understanding of financial return and achievement of business goals.
  • Experience participating in solution configurations and the creation of PoCs, to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist in the development of CDW professional services for F5 products.
  • Draft services estimates and Statements of Work.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years in Network Security in a technical delivery or technical sales support role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Other preferred qualifications:

  • Industry networking and security certifications are a plus.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the F5 offerings, strategic initiatives, current trends, competitor products andstrategies within area of responsibility.
  • Expert level proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to determine engineering effort and calculate services estimates. Write standard and custom Statements of Work.

Pay range: $133,200 - $151,200 , depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 20% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
