Job Posting Title: Test Governance Delivery Lead Job Desc. Position Summary: This is an investigative, data driven and people-oriented role. This person must have an engaging and bold personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills able to produce documentation and training material for a topic within 1 day where needed. This person needs to be ready to add value within their first 2 weeks of working on the team, asking questions that display their understanding of a topic beyond basic knowledge (scenario oriented). This person will naturally want to become an expert at any new tools they are exposed to and would have been identified as a leader of people and process in past roles. This can also be someone who may be green in the technology space but has high acumen in the tools and leading large groups and has a passion for process design. Must Have Qualifications: *3+ years Test Lead or Test Manager experience *3+ years Banking domain experience *5+ years of presenting to large groups of people at various levels in an organization (up to Sr. Leadership) *5+ years of creating documentation and training materials for implement org. wide policies and procedures *5+ years using expert tools listed below Expert Level Tool Utilization: *Excel oUnderstand and apply functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and more complex array formulas oUtilizes tools like Pivot Tables and PivotCharts oConditional Formatting oMacros and VBA oData Cleaning functions like TRIM, LEFT, RIGHT, MID oCan Dedupe data oError Checking - can identify and troubleshoot errors in formulas and data entry oPrioritizes accuracy over speed, but is still efficient ocan work with 1000+rows of complex data having relationship across multiple SORs *PowerPoint oCreate effective presentations - designs clear structure, appropriate layouts, consistent font formatting, and visual hierarchical slide oPresentations targeted for practitioners, teams, and C-suite leadership oAble to clearly explain each slide without reading off the slide oActively updates slides when appropriate to ensure effectiveness of presentation *Jira oUnderstand workflows of the Jira issue types - deliverables, epics, stories, bugs oCan create Jira Filters (JQL) and Dashboards oAble to integrate Jira with other tools (i.e. confluence) oKnows how to export data into .csv or .xls formats *Confluence oPage creation and formatting including headings, lists, tables, and macros/widgets where appropriate oCan review existing pages and mimic the style and formatting with little to no direction oUnderstands the basics of upload attachments, versioning control, etc. oCan use search capabilities in confluence to find pages in question oUses labels to categorize pages oAble to create template pages for others to use *Octane or similar test management tool oTest Case Creation and Management oRequirements Management - understands how to link test cases to user stories for traceability oTest Execution oDefect management oTest Plans and Suites oReporting and analytics - uses built in tools to generate insights on test coverage, execution status, and defect trends Job Description and Responsibilities: *Expected to be able to understand basics of role within the first 2 weeks of hire oActively reading assigned materials, proactive taking notes to ask questions oIntentionally watching and completing all training oAble to start assisting with confluence page updates, emailing teams (with guidance), meeting schedules oAble to proactively engage IT support regarding set up items oProactively scheduling meetings with the team to learn about assigned work oCan clearly articulate problem statements and potential risks when exposed to issues that come up on project calls oBeing able to actively listen, identify gaps, and offer solutions *Able to provide guidance to mid-level and junior-level resources, assist Leads and Managers, executive level presence and able to contribute to innovative ideas, etc. *Naturally investigative, leans towards solving problems before seeking help, exhausts all resources, proactive in research and troubleshooting *Easily picks up tech best practices, understanding its application in various scenarios, and quickly learns tools when exposed to them *Governing and oversight of all testing activities, volumes: o1000+ people o300+ application teams o5+ executive leadership verticals/spaces oOversight 100K to 1M Test Cases *Able to explain how tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint are used to facilitate requirement dissemination across many practitioners and teams oCan explain how to build pages, organize them in a thematic way, use widgets, organize folders, etc. *Deep knowledge and understanding is Test Management Tools oCan explain how test cases are organized and managed oCan explain process for pulling test cases into scope for a release effort *Can define and teach the different testing types (Unit Testing, CIT, SIT, E2E, UAT, etc.) *Will be responsible for designing strategies for implementing test planning practices and orchestration across multiple large scale programs *Will be responsible for creating documentation, training material, and training teams on strategies for testing compliance and adoption to test management tools *Deep understanding test analysis, planning, execution, dependency and defect management and orchestration of testing activities that lead to the achievement of high quality and scalable product delivery *Demonstrated experience conducting testing audit and governance activities to reconcile testing evidence with Enterprise Change Management requirements or external regulatory requirements *Able to broaden knowledge and execute within Enterprise Change Management processes and guidelines *Perform test and impact analysis on feature and story level by reviewing acceptance criteria, understanding what the requirements demand of testing *Coordinate user acceptance test/ E2E analysis, test activities with upstream/downstream stakeholders, test environments, and test data *Communicate with program internal and external stakeholder on matters related to all testing activities Integration/UAT/ E2E Job Requirements: *University Degree or equivalent work experience *QA Process/Methodology and Business acumen in technical development organization *Coordinate user acceptance test/ E2E analysis and test activities *Coordinate test activities with upstream/downstream stakeholders *Must have experience with any one of the test automation tools (Tosca, Cucumber, Selenium) *Experience in working on project using matured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and models: i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc. *At least 5-8 years of experience in software manual and automated testing with at least 2 years being QA Lead Specialist *At least 2 years project management/ lead experience *Proven ability to write good detailed test scripts and execute test scripts on a day-to-day basis *Ability to write SQL statements for data verification *Knowledge of Oracle, Java, Linux, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, and Virtual Machines *A team player, self-starter, and quick learner *Previous experience in implementing test automation development efforts in an Agile SCRUM development environment *Working experience in a Global organization *Working experience with onshore/offshore model *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
