How you can make a difference

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll bring an innovative mindset and strategic thinking to identify and solve complex and high-impact business challenges, delivering data and insights that drive results. The successful candidate will be involved in high-level strategic planning and decision-making for the marketing team, requiring a deep understanding of HealthEquity's market, industry trends and organizational objectives.

You'll be responsible for overseeing omnichannel analytics and developing comprehensive marketing dashboards. The data you and your team will deliver will help optimize performance and drive outcomes that directly impact the success of key strategic initiatives. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making processes within the marketing department and will lead a small, dedicated team of analysts.

What you'll be doing

    Channel and Program Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive channel-level reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for B2B and B2C marketing efforts. Generate regular, actionable insights into channel performance, program effectiveness, and overall marketing impact to drive business outcomes and marketing results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring accuracy in reporting and alignment with overall corporate reporting definitions and standards.
  • Results and ROI/ROAS Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaign spend and results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Present findings to key stakeholders and make recommendations for adjustments and improvements. Work closely with the team to iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights. Conduct thorough return on investment (ROI) analyses for each marketing channel and program. Identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement, aligning marketing strategies with overall financial goals.
  • Reporting Dashboard: Develop and maintain a centralized reporting dashboard for real-time visibility into marketing channel and program performance, providing actionable insights and highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities. Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders within the organization. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting tools.
  • Channel and Program Optimization: Monitor and analyze performance across various marketing channels, including digital, social, email, and traditional media, to identify trends and optimize marketing strategies. Collaborate with marketing strategists and digital teams to enhance channel efficiency, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously refine optimization strategies.
  • Test Matrix Development: Collaborate with campaign and program marketers, as well as channel owners, to design and execute A/B tests and multivariate tests to evaluate the impact of different variables on channel and program performance. Develop test matrices to systematically evaluate and refine marketing strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement testing plans and interpret results.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of marketing channel strategies, test methodologies, and optimization processes. Ensure that documentation is easily accessible to team members and can serve as a reference for future campaigns. Continuously update documentation to reflect changes in strategies and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of marketing analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Executive Presence: Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations on marketing performance to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing analytics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of analysts.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of B2B2C marketing, particularly in the healthcare and/or fintech space
  • Ability to surface industry trends

Salary Range

$115000.00 To $184500.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
