We are a dynamic and innovative social services and mental health organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their greatest potential.

As our part-time Medical Assistant, you will provide administrative and clinical support to clients and mental health providers through our outpatient mental health clinics in both Kenosha and Racine Wisconsin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT:



  • Greet client and verify client information. Record medical history and confirm the purpose of the visit.
  • Prepare clients for an appointment by taking identified vital signs.
  • Gather and document information on any recent client medical or medication changes.
  • Assist in scheduling client appointments as identified.
  • Collect and prepare specimens/drug screens as needed.
  • Provide complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to client appointments.


LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: Office setting in-person at both Kenosha and Racine Wisconsin PSG Clinics. Schedule may vary during training and orientation at 20-25 hours. After training typical hours will be part-time Monday-Friday 12:00pm-6:00pm up to 30 hours per week.

SALARY: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Associate's Degree is preferred. At a minimum, must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant certification eligibility is preferred.
  • Previous medical office experience is helpful.
