Compliance Engineering is looking to fill several roles for support engineers

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

As a member of our team, you will:



  • Partner with engineering colleagues across multiple divisions to create end-to-end solutions,
  • Learn from experts,
  • Leverage various technologies including - Java, JSON, Elastic Search, Kafka, Kubernetes
  • Be able to innovate and incubate new ideas,
  • Have an opportunity to work on a broad range of problems, including building system integrations, negotiating data contracts, capturing metrics, setting up messaging bus and developing and deploying microservices


QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:



  1. A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study
  2. Prior experience of handling L3 applications support including minor enhancement and production bug fixes.
  3. Expertise in Java code debugging, as well as proficiency with SQL/databases and data manipulation - Postgres & DB2
  4. The ability (and tenacity) to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and on paper.
  5. Familiar with microservices architecture, Kubernetes and shell scripting
  6. Experience with RESTful services
  7. Familiar with tools such as JIRA, Github and Service Now etc
  8. Ability to understand existing software system and troubleshoot issues
  9. Prior experience of interacting with operational team to resolve production issues


Experience in some of the following is desired and can set you apart from other candidates:



  • Nice to have knowledge on GraphQL, Tyepscript, Job Scheduling (Autosys), Messaging (Kafka)
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and compliance or risk functions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
