Overview

The Global Compensation Supervisor will effectively lead and oversee a team of compensation professionals. This role plays a critical part in managing and enhancing global compensation programs to attract, retain, and reward top talent. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in compensation practices with strong leadership and collaboration skills to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and market competitiveness.


Responsibilities


    Team Leadership and Task Management
    * Supervise, coach, and assist in developing a team of compensation professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    * Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure the timely and accurate completion of compensation projects and initiatives, while monitoring progress against established resolution metrics to ensure accountability and success
    * Supervise and oversee the day-to-day work and responsibilities of the team, ensuring tasks are assigned and prioritized to support timely and accurate completion of compensation projects and initiatives. Monitor progress against resolution metrics to maintain accountability and drive successful outcomes.

  • Global Compensation Process Execution
    * Oversee the administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs across multiple regions and countries.
    * Provide recommendations and actionable insights to leadership on the development and enhancement of policies and programs.
    * Offer constructive feedback to ensure policies and programs are aligned with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and best practices.
    * Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and industry trends.
    * Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company standards in all compensation practices.
  • Analysis and Reporting
    * Evaluate job descriptions based on external and internal data; make recommendations on FLSA exemption classifications and appropriate salary ranges. Edits job descriptions to accurately describe job content, utilizing specialized, relational database job description software and partnership with those who know the duties of the role.
    * Analyze market data and internal compensation metrics to review and evaluate requests for market adjustments, promotions, and new hire offers. Provide data-driven recommendations to ensure pay decisions are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational policies and objectives. Evaluate and address internal pay equity and competitiveness within the global talent market.
    * Prepare and present reports to leadership on compensation trends, project updates, and team performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    * Work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure compensation alignment with business goals.
    * Support organizational change initiatives by collaborating with Compensation leadership to provide specialized expertise on compensation-related matters, including alignment during restructures, mergers, or expansions. Educate and communicate clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders on organizational compensation practices, compensation fundamentals, including pay structures, and market competitiveness.
    * Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on compensation-related decisions
  • Process Improvement and Best Practices
    * Identify opportunities to enhance compensation tools, systems, and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
    * Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve compensation programs and ensure market alignment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Required)

Experience
* 5+ years of experience in compensation management (Required) and

* 2+ years in a team lead, supervisory or leadership role within compensation (Required) and

* 1+ years of experience in global compensation management (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* In-depth understanding of global compensation principles, market trends, practices, and regulations. High

* Familiarity with market analysis tools, salary surveys, and benchmarking methodologies. High

* Awareness of organizational structures and how compensation strategies align with business objectives. High

* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of compensation professionals. High

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively present recommendations, collaborate with stakeholders, influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization. High

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. High

* Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Medium

* Knowledge of compliance requirements across multiple regions, including labor laws and tax implications. Medium

* Expertise in HRIS systems, compensation software, and advanced Excel skills. Medium
