Director of Capital

The Director of Capital will be responsible for managing the annual capital plan for maintenance capital, renovation capital and ROI capital for all owned hotels

Prepare the annual maintenance capital plan for all hotels
• Be knowledgeable and know the details of the hotel capital needs
• Work closely with the hotel property teams and directors of engineering to know the condition and needs of the properties and priorities
• This position will require substantial travel to the hotel properties
• Be knowledgeable of best practices in the industry as to capital and asset management
• Maintain a database of property condition and capital investment
• Prepare the annual major capital renovation plan for all hotels
• Assist in identifying and documenting ROI projects
• Track ROI projects and report on results
• Prepare analysis of capital spend
• Follow up to ensure approved capital projects are being implemented
• Present the annual capital plan to senior management along with recommendations and information supporting the recommendations

• Bachelor's Degree
• The ideal candidate will have 10 plus years' experience in property asset management, building systems and construction, real estate investment and hotel industry experience.
