Responsibilities

As our Family Therapist, you'll be the go-to person for families on your caseload, guiding them through their journey with compassion and expertise. You'll facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, helping families connect, heal, and grow together. Plus, you'll lead engaging Family Orientations and support groups that foster community and understanding!

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Be the Family Whisperer: Communicate proactively and serve as the primary contact for families, offering support and updates like a superhero!

  • Therapeutic Guru: Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using our awesome clinical model and the Attachment-Based Family Therapy approach. You'll create a safe space for families to explore their challenges and strengths.

  • Orientation Extraordinaire: Lead new Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations, making sure families feel informed and empowered from day one.

  • Documentation Dynamo: Keep everything organized by completing assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner. You'll be the master of documentation!

  • Data Wizard: Enter and save data accurately in Word, Outlook, EMR, and online learning platforms. Your attention to detail will shine!

  • Team Player: Join our weekly treatment team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance our therapeutic strategies. We believe teamwork makes the dream work!

  • Schedule Superhero: Manage your schedule like a pro to accomplish your goals and tasks efficiently. Flexibility is key!


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided
  • Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults required.
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders or trauma-informed treatment preferred
  • Willingness to be trained to provide family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
