Must be onsite in Tampa, FL. Description Our home furnishings manufacturer and retailer client is driven by innovation and design. We are looking for a hands-on Art Director to support our ecommerce and digital initiatives who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers "click". You will collaborate with a design-savvy team to devise concepts and campaigns across multiple product categories to support our global brand marketing and retail strategies. We are looking for an experienced creative leader, who can inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience. Experience: * 7 years experience in design-related fields required * Experience working as an art director * Proven experience working with a highly-recognized editorial retail brand secondary functions: 1. Assist in making employment decisions and/or recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, pay adjustments, etc. 2. Maintain reliable attendance. 3. Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup. 4. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested. Skills Art director, figma, Visual design, mobile, email, storyboard, Adobe creative suite, mobile application Top Skills Details Art director,figma,Visual design,mobile,email,storyboard,Adobe creative suite,mobile application Additional Skills & Qualifications Highly skilled in leading a team of creatives * Exceptional hands on experience with site design, photo direction, photo editing, image selection, color management and digital ad creation * Exceptional ability in typography, layout, and prototyping with a strong portfolio * Solid knowledge of photography and video shoot production * Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud, including XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other visual design and wire-framing tools (Figma experience is a plus) * Strong creative vision with attention to business objectives * Ability to incorporate feedback and take/give direction well * Experience in concept ideation, brand design and design strategy * Maintains a positive and professional attitude that motivates others and promotes enthusiasm * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal skills * Effective time management and organizational skills * Analytical and problem solving skills * Maintain confidentiality * Strong knowledge of media (print, motion, web) * Demonstrates agility and the ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities change on short notice * Perform well in a fast-paced environment * Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers * Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor issues or inquiries * Work independently as well as in a team environment * Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement best practices This Art Director will set the strategy, approach, and ideation for the ecommerce platform refresh.
