Join a Great Place To Work certified company! Consumers Credit Union is recruiting for two Senior Branch Specialists (Personal Banker) at our Kildeer branch!

What you'll do in this role:

As a Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker), you'll develop relationships with our members, become their financial expert, open specialized accounts and educate them about products/services that will make a positive impact in their lives. This position is a combination of being a Personal Banker with some Teller responsibilities. It offers a variety of work throughout the day, involves sales goals and is perfect for those that enjoy exceeding goals and earning extra incentives!

Responsibilities:



  • Identifying financial products/services that will benefit our members, and you'll guide them toward those that are in their best interest. There are times when you'll need to overcome objections, but you know that already and are GREAT with service-minded sales!
  • Processing a wide array of requests for specialized and/or complex accounts and consumer loan applications for members.
  • Being a team player who wears multiple hats. You'll back up our Branch Specialists by greeting members and directing them to the person who can best help and answer calls from members who need assistance.
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, compliance, audits, quality control and balancing standards are adhered to.


Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling). Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
  • Comfortable promoting products and services, educating members, and engaging in sales-oriented conversations
  • Computer proficient in Data Processing Platforms, Email, Internet/Intranet, Instant Messaging, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work at a fast pace, and stay organized
  • Propensity to be helpful, positive, act with integrity, and to embrace inclusion & diversity
  • Availability to work 40+ hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours:

    • Monday - Thursday: 7:45AM- 5:45PM, Friday 7:45AM- 6:45PM, Regular Saturdays 8:15AM- 1:45PM




Compensation & Benefits

Budgeted amount for starting hourly rate: $22.50/hr + eligible to earn incentives

Consumers Credit Union provides eligible employees an opportunity to participate in our medical (High Deductible, HMO and PPO), dental, vision, spending accounts, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance and other plans effective date of hire. You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time. You will be automatically enrolled in the pension plan following six months of employment and 1,000 hours of service and reaching age 20.
