Customer Invoicing Analyst, Specialty Products and Automotive OEM

As a Customer Invoicing Analyst, Specialty Products and Automotive OEM, you will be part of our Global Business Finance Support (GBFS) team located in Pittsburgh, PA. You will provide a variety of financial related support to the administration of customer invoicing activities for internal and external customers! You will report to the Customer Invoicing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approval of manual invoices and credit memos
  • Analyze monthly sales
  • Responsible for month end closing activities related to customer invoicing
  • Prepare the analysis of sales & returns accruals
  • Preparation and completion of the shipped not billed process
  • Establish third-party invoice storage retention requirements. Liaison to third-party. Oversee daily feed of invoices to third-party provider.
  • Analyze and resolve unauthorized deductions
  • Analyze contractual price adjustments
  • Manage the analysis of billing holds, including the approval and release
  • Liaison with pricing team to ensure pricing is properly uploaded to the ERP
  • Analysis and oversight of miscellaneous invoice issue resolution
  • Provide support of credit managers for complex customers
  • Provide support to the commercial team on invoicing relationships and activities with PPG's customers
  • Responsible for the preparation and completion of the missing invoice review
  • Responsible for the preparation and completion of daily process health checks
  • Participate in the design, development, and adherence to key performance indicators
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence to all other job-specific financial policies and procedures to provide a strong business control environment, where internal financial and operating controls comply with Corporate and business policy
  • Complete annual tax reports and audit requests
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Oracle and SAP ERP experience preferred
