** Salary ranges are based on minimum education and years of experience and may increase based on education and/or experience.

Overview: We are seaking experienced Information System Security Officers to join our team! The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program. This role involves proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. The ISSO maintains the operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure compliance with established security policies, standards, and procedures.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Support senior ISSOs in implementing and enforcing security policies and standards.
• Prepare and maintain security documentation.
• Evaluate and ensure security solutions meet requirements for classified information.
• Assist with configuration management of security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Maintain records of IT assets and system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with system security policies.
• Support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining security posture.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Manage and assess the security impact of system changes.
• Provide oversight and direction to contractor ISSOs.
• Interact with customers and corporate officers to achieve security objectives.

Mid Level Information System Security Officer:

• Ten (10) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.

Senior Information System Security Officer:

• Fifteen (15) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
