Temporary Electrified Powertrain Vehicle Support Mechanic

This is a temporary position.

The Temporary Electrified Powertrain Vehicle Support Mechanic will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Perform Isolation checks.
• R&R of automotive high voltage and other components.
• Installation of instrumentation.
• Light high and low voltage harness repairs.
• Light fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Take training as directed.
• Support coworkers as needed.
• Maintain skill set in line with product development and engineering needs.
• Enter required administrative tracking of program information, hours worked, lost time, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• Good work management skills.
• Good communicator.
• Has proven mechanical skills.
• Has good diagnostic skills.
• Has computer skills.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Able to support overtime as needed.
• Has standard mechanical tools and a lockable toolbox.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of automotive electrification hardware.
• Electrified Vehicle garage experience.
• High organizational and planning skills.
• Has dealership or other vehicle garage experience.
• Good fabrication skills.
• Very effective communicator.
