Summary of role

This role will play a key and active role within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence, in managing and administering all aspects of Lantheus's equity compensation, to include ESPP. The role will work toward enhancing internal processes, improving employee experience, while administering equity programs to help attract and retain talent at Lantheus. The role will work with other areas of HR, as well as with other functions as needed to ensure competitive and compliant programs are in place to support corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Equity Administration (70%):



  • Oversee and administer all global equity granting processes, ensuring all participant equity transactions are properly approved, accurately processed, and settled to include grants, exercise, vesting, forfeitures, etc
  • CEO and Talent and Compensation Committee reporting and consents/ratification preparation
  • Collaborate with Legal team to manage and prepare equity form agreements
  • Management of the equity grant pool, ensuring shares available for future grants is accurate, properly tracked in equity administration system and reflect any outstanding or vested awards
  • Serve as the point of contact for the equity administration vendor
  • Serve as the primary SOX controls owner, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and internal policies in equity program administration, monitoring internal controls and supporting SOX testing and documentation.
  • Support annual CD&A process with information for annual proxy filing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance and document equity-related procedures, policies, and controls, ensuring alignment with best practices, compliance and data privacy requirements.
  • Administer the ESPP program to include planning and communications, working with Payroll to ensure seamless process
  • Identify areas of efficiency and operationalize process improvements in systems and/or workflows to support future growth
  • Partner with Legal team to maintain insider list, blackout dates, and ensure Section 16 officers and other employees comply with trading restrictions.
  • Develop and operationalize employee educational programs pertaining to equity programs to include ESPP


Financial Reporting (10%):



  • Partner with the Payroll team on employee taxation requirements
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams on audit requests, as well as other financial reporting/filing requirements
  • Stay informed on tax regulations affecting equity administration and ensure compliance


Project Management (20%):



  • Lead and participate in various ad hoc projects to include integration activities, process improvement initiatives, and new market entry activities, providing guidance and diligence to support equity awards internationally
  • Assess current equity administration system for appropriateness as organization continues to grow


Basic Qualifications



  • 8 - 12+ years of progressive equity administration experience both domestically in the USA and internationally
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Detailed understanding of compliance and regulatory environment related to equity compensation
  • Proficiency with compensation equity analysis tools, systems and software
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills and beginner Microsoft Access skill levels preferred.
  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Finance/Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical and/or high technology industry are preferable or broader industry acceptable.
  • This position is site-based and requires a presence on-site three days per week
