Summary

The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer leads reliability and maintenance programs for all plant rotating equipment, ensuring optimal performance, failure prevention, and cost-effective asset lifecycle management. This role reports to the Engineering & Reliability Manager and collaborates across departments to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilitie



  • Rotating Equipment Reliability & Maintenance - Provide technical leadership, oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, manage contracts, and drive equipment improvements.
  • Failure Analysis - Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA), improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Compliance - Maintain records, audit repair organizations, and ensure regulatory compliance with industry standards.
  • Health, Environmental, and Safety (HES) Support - Ensure safety procedures, champion continuous improvement, and align reliability programs with compliance requirements.
  • Communication & Strategic Planning - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical insights for budgeting, and communicate equipment status to stakeholders.




Qualifications



  • Experience: 8+ years in rotating equipment design, maintenance, reliability, and failure analysis.
  • Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
  • Technical Skills: RCFA, FMEA, Weibull analysis, SAP, Microsoft Office.
  • Industry Knowledge: RAGAGEP standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI).
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership,
