Chemical Production Operator



Schedule: 6am-2pm



Job Summary:

We are seeking a Chemical Production Operator to support manufacturing operations by handling raw materials, operating chemical processing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in chemical production, knowledge of industrial mixing processes, and familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA and GMP.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain chemical processing equipment (mixers, reactors, pumps, filtration systems, etc.).
  • Handle raw materials and measure chemical quantities according to production formulas.
  • Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure proper chemical reactions.
  • Perform routine quality checks using titration, pH measurement, and other analytical methods.
  • Follow GMP, OSHA, and environmental safety regulations for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with production and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or Associate's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in chemical production, manufacturing, or industrial processing.
  • Understanding of chemical handling, mixing, and processing techniques.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (GMP, OSHA, EPA, or ISO standards) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and mechanical aptitude.
