JOB MISSION:

As a key member of the Financial Information Systems (FIS) team, you will leverage your business acumen, systems and interpersonal skills to serve the New Balance Finance user population. Collaborate with executive management, operations and finance to support complex financial reporting. Apply functional and technical expertise to New Balance reporting by defining customer requirements, writing functional & technical specifications, diagnosing problems and assisting in application & system testing. NB experiences exponential growth and adapts to a continuously changing environment; we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our dynamic transformation team. Come partner with us to work cross-functionally to build and implement Finance's long-term future state vision.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design and deliver intuitive, visually engaging Power BI reports tailored to Finance and Value Chain needs using SDLC process. Must have agile experience with Agile/Iterative approach
  • Build and support relationships with business, functional, and technology teams.
  • Lead requirements discussions and brainstorming with cross-functional teams.
  • Integrate and cleanse data from multiple sources for comprehensive, data-driven insights.
  • Architect efficient data models to enhance report performance and development speed using SDLC process. Gain user signoffs and work with board for deployment
  • Create Dashboards, interactive visualizations to provide actionable business insights.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, maintain documentation, and leverage ADO experience.
  • Communicate effectively and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Monitor report performance and tackle issues

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and Report Builder.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools and libraries. ie. Azure DevOps
  • Power BI or related certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365and Microsoft cloud data platforms (e.g., ADF, Databricks, Fabric).

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
