EisnerAmper is seeking a Business Advisor to join the growing healthcare practice. The Healthcare Business Advisor is responsible for oversight of daily operations of physician practices, ensuring the billing and administrative functions are fulfilled. This role is to be based out of our Boston, MA or Burlington, MA offices. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Oversee administrative and financial operations for healthcare clients of varying sizes.

  • Collaborate with physicians and executive leaders to provide guidance on business decisions, strategic planning, and growth initiatives to enhance clinical and financial performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness through expense management and vendor contract negotiations.

  • Design and benchmark provider and staff compensation structures.

  • Lead project management efforts, including the development and execution of project plans, communication strategies, financial models, and presentations.

  • Conduct data analyses and generate reports to support business growth and identify areas for improvement (e.g., coding, collection rates, business line profitability).

  • Support M&A activities, including business startups, buy/sell-side transaction advisory, and financial modeling.

  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to operational challenges.

  • Establish and uphold high standards for client service excellence.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent field

  • 8+ years of overall work experience, 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • 5 years' experience as an Office/Practice Manager within the healthcare industry, with use of an EMR/HER, or similar role. Experience in one or more specialties a plus.

  • Must have an accounting foundation including familiarity with financial statements, reconciliations (bank, credit), and payroll

  • Experience with accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and payroll software such as ADP or Paychex

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree a plus (MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, coupled with an ability for data analysis and critical thinking

  • Work requires the knowledge and skills necessary to solve problems in the areas of clinical operations, business planning, financial management, marketing, and personnel
