Administrative Professional

We are seeking an Administrative Professional to assist with the U.S. Air Force's Environmental Restoration Program. This support will provide Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) services to AFCEC/CIB.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Administrative Professional: $50,000 - $60,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Administrative Professional Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide specialized advisory and assistance (A&AS) support services to the Air Force including:

    • Coordination of timely Miscellaneous Obligation Reimbursement Document (MORD) invoice payments, to include but not limited to invoice document approval preparations and follow-up with signature authorities, Air Force Financial Management representatives and vendors as needed
    • Coordination of establishment of new MORDs to include preparations and routing of needed documents for processing through Air Force Financial Management representatives
    • Troubleshooting missed/lost payments, incorrect invoices, etc. to include interaction and correspondence with installation and Program Managers on a regular basis
    • Tracking MORD payments, funding balances and provide notices of low balances
    • MORD Desk tasks updates, oral and written, to MORD PM, Branch Chiefs, Air Force Financial Management representatives and other stakeholders, as requested
    • Assist with MORD trainings, instructions, playbooks, briefings and presentations to Air Force stakeholders

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Administrative Professional Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask between multiple simultaneous efforts and requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for reports, documentation and data entry tasks.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
