About the Position
The People team at FiscalNote is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to support our growing workforce. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing employee lifecycle processes, maintaining our HRIS systems and providing exceptional service to our team members through various HR initiatives.

About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong process management skills and passion for supporting others. You understand the importance of discretion when handling sensitive employee data and consistently demonstrate excellent judgement in your work. Your strong organizational abilities allow you to effectively prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. You're tech-savvy and adaptable, with an interest in global HR practices and drive to improve processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and approach challenges with both analytical thinking and empathy.

What To Expect In This Position
  • Responsible for assisting in all administrative and operations aspects of human resources
  • Own and execute end to end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal movements and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee personnel records outside our HRIS
  • Maintain data integrity in FiscalNote's HRIS (BambooHR) through regular audits, updates and access management
  • Manage employee inquiries through our online ticketing system, including general People questions, and employment verifications
  • Support immigration processes, compliance audits, and ad hoc initiatives through careful data collection and management
  • Collaborate with the People Partner team on administrative support, reporting, and special projects
  • Document and optimize People team procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Research best practices and current trends for the team, as needed
  • Additional related responsibilities as needed
What Sets You Apart
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or Operations
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS data management (BambooHR experience preferred)
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices
  • Basic knowledge of State and Federal employment laws, global knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Relentless desire to learn, grow, and succeed
  • Ability to exercise discretion in communications and decision-making
  • Proficient in using Google suite (Gmail, docs, calendar), Slack, and MacOs
  • Experience with global immigration a plus
