Analyst, Treasury

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Treasury, the Analyst, Treasury facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting and assists with bank structure and some risk management activities. Produces reports to aid in the forecasting of cash needs for the business and assists with other Treasury functions. Works cross functionally with the Finance team to participate in process improvement projects, fielding of questions and ensuring adequate coverage for Treasury functions. This position plays a crucial role in the cash management process to both create visibility, achieve optimal cash management and assist in the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.

• Assists in the execution of the daily cash management duties by monitoring and analyzing the Company's daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize the short-term borrowing or investments.
• Pool cash from all secondary bank accounts.
• Process wire and ACH payments ensuring that all payment requests have been approved in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.
• Adhere to Accounting month-end close schedules for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts, all month end processes, and all related journal entries.
• Assist in executing standby letters of credit, import/export letters of credit, performance bonds and similar instruments as needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports including but not limited to global cash and net debt positions.
• Assist with the company's monthly hedging program.
• Assist with short- and long-term intercompany settlements and transactions.
• Manage the reporting accuracy, monitoring and accountability of Treasury Policies, including the T&E, P-Card, Hedging and FX policies.
• Provides information in connection with the external and internal audits and monitors cash management activities to ensure compliance.
• Support FX front office processes including loading FX trades and rates, maintaining settlement instructions and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks.
• Assist in maintaining banking records and legal documentation including Signature Cards, KYC, SOX and FBAR-related documentation.
• Work with Treasury management to maintain and rationalize the company's choice of key global banks including the analysis of bank fee structures, services, relationships, credit levels and counterparty credit quality/exposure.
• Assist other departments (e.g., Internal Audit, Accounting or Tax) with quarter-end and ad hoc information requests as needed.

• Act as a Treasury liaison with the company's business units in setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters.
• Maintain database of global intercompany loans. Ensure that interest is paid in accordance with loan agreements and fund repayments as applicable.
• Work with company's business units and senior treasury analysts to prepare weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models; coordinates with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variances.
• Support Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning, Internal Audit and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions and entity structures.
• Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
• Administration of casualty, property, auto, worker's compensation and various other insurance programs; request COIs, correspondence files, update insurance summary for the various policies, relay information.
• Assist with insurance renewals and provide data requested for the renewal process
• Tracking, reconciliation and preparation of outstanding debt and interest, certain principal and interest payments, interest accruals and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Administer the P-card and T&E card issuance, access and control reporting.
• Review, distribute or take action on Treasury mail as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• An individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Database software, Internet software; and bank cash management software.
• Must be able to multi-task. Must be willing and able to perform in a team environment, working cooperatively with others from various functional areas and at various levels within the organization. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Willingness to learn and digest new systems and software, and manage data flow between them.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related subject
• 2+ years' experience in a finance or treasury function
• Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred but not required.
