About the Position
The Sr. Director of FP&A will be responsible for leading all FP&A functions and creating a best-in-class financial intelligence function. This role will support the CFO in developing both long-term and short-term financial goals for the business and maintaining the financial systems required for accurate and timely management reporting to drive informed decision-making. The Sr. Director will collaborate across various functions to gather and analyze financial data, present findings to senior management, and implement strategies that successfully drive margin and workflow improvements.
Reporting to the CFO, the Sr. Director of FP&A will play a critical role within the Financial Leadership Team, fostering consensus and commitment to effectively implement management reporting across corporate functions and operating groups. This includes budget versus actual analysis, acquisition integration, margin improvements, and KPIs. The ideal candidate will approach projects with flexibility, innovation, and a strong service-oriented mindset, emphasizing both system- and people-driven solutions. This role will drive the organization's operations finance strategy and develop a forward-thinking approach to forecasting, margin enhancement, and continuous improvement.
Financial Planning & Analysis
-Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including preparation of annual budgets, monthly flash reporting, and quarterly forecasts.
-Track performance against budgets, forecasts, and performance targets while improving precision and accuracy in reporting and monitoring financial metrics proactively.
-Perform operationally focused financial analysis and data gathering to support strategic and business development initiatives.
-Drive forward-looking processes, including forecasts, strategic and operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results.
-Partner closely with the CFO and investor relations on internal and external communications and company positioning, including supporting the quarterly earnings process and preparation.
-Provide earnings call financial analysis and support, including schedule control, data compilation, and Q&A preparation.
-Prepare executive review packages and financial reports for the Board of Directors.
-Participate in senior leadership meetings, presenting relevant documents, reports, and plans in a timely manner.
-Foster a high-performance culture by building and managing a best-in-class, analytically driven FP&A team.
Strategic Finance
-Serve as a strategic business partner to the CFO and leadership team, advising on a wide range of financial, strategic, operational, and organizational topics.
-Collaborate with peers to evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short- and long-term strategic and operational plans.
-Support corporate development efforts through strategy, process, and analysis.
-Provide thought leadership for growth opportunities and ensure the business scales sustainably.
-Lead and manage key finance projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and deliver deeper insights for critical business decisions.
Business Integrations & Special Projects
-Collaborate with the Corporate Development team to lead financial due diligence on target companies.
-Work with Corporate Development and other departments to prepare financial forecasts for target companies and integrate these forecasts with internal models.
-Ensure valuation models, forecast plans, and financial projections are consistent with departmental and product group plans.
-Evaluate the financial impact of target companies on the overall corporate structure and performance.
This position demands a combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and an ability to foster collaboration across teams, enabling the organization to achieve its financial goals and scale effectively.
About the Finance Team
As we ramp up in revenue, team size, acquisitions and outside investments, our finance team ensures clarity, consistency, and transparency surrounding our rapidly advancing financial position. Charged to understand everything about startup and SaaS finance and accounting, the finance team fuels growth with its finger always on the pulse of the company's financial affairs.

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - 220,000 per year.
