Position Overview: We are looking for a student intern with both business and technical acumen who is self-motivated with a desire to grow. If that describes you, you'll fit in perfectly with our team. The IT Service Delivery Intern will help meet additional expansions in our client offerings. This position will join an already successful team to take client service to the next level. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will collaborate with you to see you succeed. Come join our expanding team and make a difference! Essential Functions:
- Participate as a member of the IT Service Delivery team to learn and understand clients, business teams, and IT internal processes.
- Understand the tools and methodologies used to effectively elicit and document project requirements for IT solution development.
- Gain experience serving as a liaison between the business users and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, including process optimization, risk and security mitigation, and technology utilization.
- Write and perform functional tests as well as user acceptance tests for applications and business processes.
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence) or other team/project collaboration tools a plus.
- Experience working independently on projects and within a distributed team environment.
- Ability to execute assigned projects within established timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute.
The Team: Myers and Stauffer takes pride in the welcoming and collaborative culture we have throughout our offices. Work Style: Our general business hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, but can vary based on business needs.
