JOB SUMMARY

UT Southwestern School of Health Professions is a public institution offering postgraduate programs in health professions. The school currently provides two doctoral degrees-the Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Clinical Research and the Doctorate in Physical Therapy-and six master's degrees: Clinical Nutrition-Coordinated Program, Genetic Counseling,

Health Informatics, Nutritional Health, Physician Assistant Studies, and Prosthetics-Orthotics. The school aims to create a learning community that values individual similarities and differences, enabling all students to achieve their full academic potential. Each program is dedicated to high student retention and graduation rates. The Recruitment and Student Success Program Coordinator will focus on recruitment, outreach, and supporting student success. The individual will use data-driven strategies to enhance student affairs and recruitment efforts, playing a crucial role in improving the student experiences, and fostering institutional growth. This role reports to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Engagement.BENEFITS

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

• Education
  Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field

• Experience
  5 years Experience in appropriate field or
  May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Health, Public Administration, Data Science, Sociology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders, prospective students, and current students.
• Experience conducting surveys and focus groups.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, preferably in higher education.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SASS, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of higher education policies and student development theories is a plus.

JOB DUTIES

• Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
• Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
• Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
• Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
• Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information.
• Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
• May provide supervision to staff members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
