Position Summary

As a Manager of the Project Management team, you will lead business systems project management across the enterprise. You will have oversight of people and process management as well as business outcomes for projects within the Business Systems portfolio. You will beexpected to define Project Management Office (PMO) process, lead collaboration, and influence outcomes.

This is a remote role, occasional travel may be required per business and or team needs.

What You'll do as a Manager, Project Management:

  • Manage the business systems portfolio of projects to ensure system enhancements achieve desired business outcomes. Champion project management principles aligned with lean/agile solutions delivery.
  • Plan, assign, and direct the activities of the Project Management team involved in the planning, implementation, and adoption of business process changes resulting from business systems work.
  • Take an active role as a project manager providing project support. Facilitate steering committee meetings to ensure project alignment and communication of project timelines and resources are successful across the enterprise.
  • Define PMO processes, tools, and standard work. Ensure project management team is properly trained to execute processes within the structure to align with agile planning and delivery lifecycle.
  • Mentor and coach project management professionals with various levels of experience and skillsets. Set expectations and provide timely and open feedback to foster continual associate development.
  • Develop and maintain a structure to organize current and future state business process maps and ensure process maps are regularly created and maintained. Use these to influence the business to develop enterprise wide, long-term visions.
  • Aligns multiple business units and resources to new business processes. Plans and monitors project activities to help remove roadblocks.
  • Ensure project managers' work product reflects all elements necessary to achieve full adoption of business systems solutions.
  • Lead collaboration with stakeholders and business champions in operational readiness activities, including impact analysis and documentation of process change.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders fostering an environment of open communication, idea generation, and challenging the status quo.


The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:

Required:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience to develop and implement effective project management plans.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with portfolio-level project management.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience with overall software product delivery process.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating group collaboration and driving team engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional groups to produce business process map and driving gap analysis to implement process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience with assessing and documenting business processes while also influencing significant and creative process change.



Preferred:




  • PMP Certification.
  • Background in software, including implementation and working with agile software teams.



Other:




  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong professional communication skills and effective presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced problem solving skills and demonstrated conflict management.

Pay range for this opportunity is$91,250.00-$127,575.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company's 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
