Job Summary:

Ingevity is a leading provider of road marking solutions, including thermoplastic, paint, and preforms. Our innovative products ensure safety and durability on roads and highways. We are seeking a dedicated Field Applications Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers.

The Field Applications Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to road marking applicators using our products. This role involves extensive travel to customer sites, project locations, and demonstration jobs to ensure the proper application and performance of our thermoplastic, paint, and preform products. The position is remote with extensive travel.

How You Will Impact Ingevity:

  • Technical Support:Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for customers using our road marking products.
  • Training:Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper application techniques and best practices for using thermoplastic, paint, and preforms.
  • Product Demonstrations:Perform product demonstrations at customer sites and trade shows to showcase the benefits and features of our products.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Feedback Collection:Gather feedback from customers regarding product performance and application challenges, and communicate this information to the product development team.
  • Documentation:Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, support provided, and any issues encountered.
  • Travel:Travel extensively (50-75%) to customer sites, project locations, and demonstration jobs.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in field applications support, preferably within the road marking or construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of thermoplastic, paint, and preform road marking products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using technical support tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50-75%).
  • This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
