This position is for a registered nurse trainer who consults on various processes and supports regulatory compliance via quality training of new staff and ad hoc remediation training. This role will also support the provision of education and training related to audit findings and trends. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. during PST time zone business hours as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Clinical and Onboarding Training (planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating clinical training)
- Development of Clinical and Regulatory Training as needed
- Collaboration with Delegation Oversight and Medical Management Functional lanes to deliver training and educational support related to compliance and regulatory elements
- Education to staff or contracted entities as needed
- Motivates and inspires other team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Professional Competencies:
- Working knowledge of health care delivery systems
- Working knowledge of PC applications including MS Office Suite
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret data
- Skill in writing clear, grammatically correct, easy to use instructional documentation
- Ability to identify learning needs, set goals and seek educational opportunities
- Ability to analyze problems and formulate appropriate plans, solutions, and courses of action

- Current, unrestricted RN license in state of residence
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Experience with training and staff education
- Solid organizational skills, self-motivated and ability to interact with company staff at all levels
- Solid experiences with cross-departmental collaboration
- Solid presentation skills
- Knowledge base of clinical standards of care, NCQA, governing and regulatory agency requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of clinical quality experience
- 1+ years of experience working in managed care or in the insurance industry
- Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid
- Experience with project coordination and training development
- Ability to assist with focusing activities on a strategic direction as well as develop tactical plans, drive performance and achieve targets
- Ability to do formal presentations in different settings- training a variety of staff
*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment.
