Cytotech Supervisor Position Summary The Cytotech Supervisor ensures high quality, accurate testing and result reporting in cytology discipline through appropriate procedures and quality control/quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates excellence in providing good patient care. Demonstrates good teamwork to create a positive work environment. Ensure all equipment and stains/reagents are properly maintained. Write and review processing procedures. Educate staff. Measured by audit and direct observation by Pathologists Position Qualifications Experience 5 years of responsible working experience as a cytotechnologist in a pathologist directed laboratory, required. Thorough knowledge within the field of cytology. Education Bachelor's degree in cytology, general science or related field, required. Certification/Licensure CT: Cytotechnologist, required.
