About the Role Culmlen International is currently seeking a talented Communication Specialist to support the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). The NICoE is dedicated to improving the lives of service members affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other invisible wounds of war through excellence in clinical care, research, and education. This position is 100% on -site, Bethesda, MD. As the headquarters of the 13-site Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health (DIN), NICoE plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among providers, researchers, and support staff dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war. What You'll Do in Your New Role The success of the NICoE program depends on clear, consistent, and open communication between the program team, NICoE leadership, DoD, DHA, and WRNMMC, and NSA Bethesda. This position serves to raise awareness, publicize and coordinate media, events, and above all share information for smooth operations and program efficiencies. Our staff will work with client leadership to assess the current communication plan, messaging, and channels and provide a recommendation for a way forward. Our efforts will focus on planning and executing media, public events, and campaigns to promote and support clinical programs, benefits, and features of DIN.
