Duties, Responsibilities & Other

This position is for a journeyman with a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience and a valid Journeyman Electrical License.

    Candidate should have 4-8 years of experience.
  • Candidate should have current Journeyman Electrical License
  • A valid current driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. (Commercial Driver's License is a plus)
  • Opportunity to lead small crews (2-5 electricians)
  • Mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and other industry standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete a job layout for projects of limited various scope and size
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and written reference material
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Installing equipment cabinets and cabling.
  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training
  • Wireless and/or EV construction is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions, possess the ability to be trained, mentored, and have a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to interact with our client project managers and resolve problems in the field.
  • Must be able to walk for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions and climates.
  • Hold daily safety meetings and identify potential safety hazards and create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.
  • Ability to follow instructions, training and mentoring crews with a positive can-do attitude are necessities.
  • Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
  • Being a team player in the truest sense, with an ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
  • Excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques Enforce a safe jobsite and maintain compliance with company safety, OSHA and customer-specific safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions and climates. Must be willing to work evenings/weekends when required. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects are possible and should be expected. EOE/M/F/Veteran/Disabled.



Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
