Work Schedule:

100% FTE; Day Shift. Monday - Friday. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.

Pay:

You may be eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist, you will:



  • Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Must have valid driver's license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent. Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred

UW Health Pharmacy Services Building - a non-clinical location in Middleton that houses nearly 100 Pharmacy professionals. These employees perform various services and duties, including pharmacy administration, Pharmacy Technician Training Program, pharmacy primary care services, medication prior authorization, sterile and non-sterile compounding, specialty/mail service program and call center.
