About the Role Culmen is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Consultant for global cybersecurity advisory services for the Balkans region. This Department of State contract supports U.S. foreign policy goals throughout the world through a variety of programs and policies designed to bolster peace, security and regional stability. What You'll Do in Your New Role The Advisor will provide cybersecurity advisory services to support the host nation's national security strategy. The Cybersecurity Advisor will build work plans that forecast activities to address identified gaps, including timelines, milestones, and training schedules. The advisor will work in coordination with partner nation military personnel, AF/RPS representatives, and other relevant entities. As the Advisor you are responsible for enhancing governance and build institutional capacity for U.S. partners at various levels, providing guidance to improve cybersecurity capacity and management of threats, assisting in enhancing governance standards and coordinating cyber roles and responsibilities, identifying barriers to institutional change and recommend solutions, helping develop efficient processes for cyber defense and strategy, attending applicable national and interagency meetings and meet monthly with senior representatives to discuss progress, collaborating with U.S. Embassy experts to ensure effective coordination on cyber reforms and assessing regulations and current practices to identify strengths and gaps. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in computer science, cybersecurity, cyber operations, information management, information systems security, and/or other related fields.

The projected compensation range for this position is $108,000 - $136,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
