Executive Assistant to the Chancellor Chancellor's Immediate Office Full Time 83160BR Job Summary The Executive Assistant acts in a problem-solving and coordinative role in support of the Chancellor. Oversees the Chancellor's daily administrative needs and schedule. Uses concepts and organization objectives to resolve the most complex issues with institution-wide impact. Provides professional expertise and collaborates with a wide variety of staff and management at all levels in the university. Functions with a high degree of autonomy and utmost discretion. Routinely collaborates with team members in the Immediate Office of the Chancellor and in the offices of leaders across UCSF. Reports to the Associate Chancellor who provides guidance, as needed.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84,400 - $180,000 (Annual Rate). The office oversees sensitive, strategic and often urgent issues, communications, and events on behalf of the Chancellor. In doing so, the staff routinely partners with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior campus leaders, faculty, staff, trainees and donors, as well as government, private- and public-sector officials.
