This administrative position supports myriad operational needs in the Office of Graduate Medical Education, which vary in duration, frequency and intensity. The incumbent in this position will be required to either have or ultimately develop a broad and deep understanding of graduate medical education, its accreditation requirements and relevant policies and procedures. Ultimately, the incumbent will be expected to achieve subject matter mastery such that they can provide education about current processes to GME community members as needed and make process improvement suggestions to GME Leadership.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred, or in lieu of a degree 3-5 years in a similar academic medical setting may be considered Experience: 1-2 years' experience in program management or project coordination strongly considered. Experience in GME, UME or an academic medical center preferred. License/Certification: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS Additionally, this position assists with management of events, as needed, in GME educational space which requires the ability to sit/stand for prolonged period, bending/stooping/walking, climbing (ladder, steps), reaching (overhead), and lifting/pulling/pushing (20-50lbs).
