Marketing Trade Show & Event Intern

OVERARCHING RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing trade show logistics and operations to ensure Minitab has a successful presence at industry events as well as events produced by Minitab. This position is based in State College, PA (no remote offered).

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Maintain an accurate calendar of all Minitab trade shows, user conferences and events for global transparency.
  • Assist with managing and updating the budget for all trade shows, events, speaker program, and promotional items.
  • Reconcile all show invoices and update show budget expenditures.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to research and select all trade shows and eventsin which Minitab will participate.
  • Create marketing process maps for trade show and events nurture campaigns for each event.
  • Create surveys in Survey Monkey for Minitab Exchange events. Pull results for analysis.
  • Collect privacy policies from each show and submit for GDPR adherence.
  • Post-event, collect, scrub and submit leads for import into CRM system for sales follow up.
  • Provide additional assistance for the Minitab Insights Global Conference as well as the Minitab Exchange.



EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE



  • Working towards degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, SharePoint, and marketing automation.



QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



  • Strong creative, strategic, innovative, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and creative writing communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to create and maintain project lists and timetables and meet deadlines on time and within budget.
  • Highly motivated, willingness to think outside the box, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized, accurate, thorough, and able to assume diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural environment.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing the English languages is required.


This is an onsite position at our State College, PA HQ. Remote work is not an option.
