Summary: The Manager, Sales Operations plays a key role in supporting Pacira's sales operations, focusing on managing day-to-day activities related to sample programs, marketing collateral, and fleet operations. This role ensures compliance with company policies and PDMA (Prescription Drug Marketing Act) regulations while driving efficiency and effectiveness across processes. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional support to the field sales force.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned. Fulfillment Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison for field personnel, providing training and guidance on PDMA, state regulations, and Pacira sample processes, including onboarding and ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance by monitoring and tracking adherence to sample procedures and policies.
- Oversee timely processing of sample requests through vendors and provide regular updates to the field on order status and inquiries.
- Partner with Commercial Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and vendors to establish and document business rules for sample and marketing collateral programs.
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to align on deliverables, processes, and requirements.
- Manage marketing collateral and fulfillment activities to support the field effectively.
- Generate and provide reports (e.g., AOC, signature verification, fleet, and sample) for Compliance and other stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Fleet Management:
- Maintain accurate records of field vehicle information and support fleet-related tasks, including issuing fuel cards to personnel.
- Monitor fleet transactions to ensure compliance with Pacira Fleet Policies, and provide ongoing guidance to field personnel.
- Develop and share monthly fleet reports with sales leadership.
- Proactively assess and improve fleet management processes to maximize operational effectiveness.
General Support:
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations on special projects as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the Sales Operations team's objectives.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales operations, or sample operations.

- Strong understanding of PDMA regulations and sample industry standards.
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences with varying levels of understanding.
- Detail-oriented with a professional and conscientious work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and improve operational processes.
