EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO

This position provides a full range of administrative support. This position must function with limited supervision and requires considerable proactive coordination with executive work demands. Must be able to exercise initiative, independent judgement and accountability for various processes and programs. This position works collaboratively with the Company's leadership team, staff, and other external resources.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Six years related experience including three years of experience as administrative support to at the director level or above. Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.

* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Responsible for organizational, clerical, and planning needs of the CEO including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining minutes, maintaining/retrieving files in an orderly and systematic way, completing audits, and preparing and managing correspondence

* Provide administrative support for Leadership level staff

* Participate in specialized and routine meetings and committees as assigned

* Assists CEO and Leadership level staff in research for and completion of routine and special reports and projects required by corporate, regulatory agencies, etc.

* Coordinate travel itineraries, conferences, telephone conferences, meetings, and other hospital events as needed for the CEO and Leadership level staff

* Assumes lead responsibility for various project-based assignments in support of executives and/or assigned groups

* Prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software and/or transcription

* Assist with monitoring for all vendor, physician, and other contracts and as needed coordinate communication with corporate regarding contracts in accordance with policy and procedure

* Assist designated executive level staff with the coordination of required facility-level governance meetings, including Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Governors, including scheduling, developing agendas, and maintaining minutes, manuals, and bylaws to meet regulatory standards.

* Assist designated executive level staff with credentialing for the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals per the Medical Staff Bylaws and Insurance/Managed Care vendors

* Ability to stand up from the floor

* Ability to stoop and bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist

* Ability to reach and lift approximately 15 pounds above head level
