Member Insurance Service Representative
The Member Insurance Service Representative will work closely with the Insurance Sales Representatives in completing administrative insurance functions. The position will perform a variety of administrative tasks, providing technical support and insurance services duties as they relate to incidents, claims and insurance policies, such as gathering, organizing and validating information and supporting documentation, entering data, responding to correspondence, inquiries and information requests, developing/produce reoccurring management reporting; and escalating problems to the VP of VyStar Insurance Agency, as necessary.
Gathers and organizes data needed by obtaining information by contacting other people inside or outside of VyStar. Follows up in a professional manner to receive information timely.
Reviews, verifies information and applications, cross checks against electronic worksheets, schedules in policies, certificate of insurance, claims documentation, etc. Ensures completion and accuracy of data, paperwork, and/or forms in a timely manner. Compiles/creates materials for ongoing Insurance Program or special projects, which may include, distributing, editing, formatting and/or proofreading material drafted information. Maintains records and data, which may include entering into databases/servers, scanning, developing tracking systems/spreadsheets, setting up files, etc. Data Entry, electronic filing of claims, insurance policies, documents and email communications and maintaining records. Insurance resource for internal and external customers/contacts by providing answers to routine inquiries and coordinating responses; solving problems and/or discrepancies, which may involve research and data collection. Maintains records retention practices to ensure related insurance information (electronic and paper) is maintained in accordance with defined record retention schedules and purged/disposed of appropriately. Other duties as assigned All employees and business units, as first line of defense, are expected to proactively help identify, assess, manage, and report risks within their domain of work. To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates. The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid knowledge of processing, methods and workflow procedures in insurance preferred Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build rapport and professionally interact positively and courteously within the organization or with vendors. Ability to communicate professionally, actively listens, asks appropriate questions to meet objectives, and clearly and concisely communicates when sharing with others. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization. Understands VyStar's overall vision, mission and business objectives. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality, demonstrate due professional care and the highest standards of professional competency. Ability to effectively plan and organize work to ensure that work is completed within specified time and quality parameters. Education & Experience
Preferred that candidate currently hold appropriate State Property & Casualty licenses (2-20, 20-44 or 4-40) Personal lines experienced preferred. Commercial experience is a plus High school diploma required with 1-2 years of insurance related experience preferred General knowledge of insurance departments, operations, terminology and objectives preferred. Employee must acquire appropriate State Property & Casualty licenses (2-20, 20-44 or 4-40) and complete necessary continuing education hours to maintain related license.
