RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinical Research Manager to join our team. The Clinical Research Manager plans, develops, and manages the local clinical trials and associated administrative activities of the local Clinical Research Department. This role confers with executive and clinical management to plan operational objectives, develop and evaluate policies and procedures, and coordinate functions and operations within the associated Imaging Centers. In addition to which, the Clinical Research Manager oversees the registration, care, and treatment of research patients, while maintaining open communication with all involved PI offices, and study Sponsors. This position is full-time working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(60%) Research Management

• Serves as the primary representative and spokesperson for the local research division.
• Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of clinical protocols, administrative and logistical procedures, documentation, and operating systems in accordance with research parameters set by the PI offices and sponsors.
• Supervises Research team members and performs routine audits of processes and protocols to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Actively monitors and assesses policies and procedures for the registration, screening, enrollment, and retention of research patients.
• Oversees research patient uploads and reports to verify timely and accurate submissions by the Radiologist Team.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation for ongoing research activities.
• Ensures confidentiality of all health information in compliance with Florida statutes, HIPAA, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

(20%) Management Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentorship to research team members, fostering professional growth and development.
• Conducts regular team meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
• Manages the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of research staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Monitors departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with Imaging Center teams and management to develop and implement training programs for team members, ensuring readiness for current and upcoming study requirements.

(10%) Research Liaison

• Coordinates PI and sponsor visits within associated Imaging Centers.
• Collaborate with the local Account Executive to strengthen business market opportunities and ensure PI and sponsor needs are met.
• Works closely with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to audit and track billing processes, ensuring invoicing is accurate and complete.
• Coordinates with equipment vendors to verify accurate and up-to-date information, ensuring that equipment meets the requirements of PI offices and study sponsors.

(10%) Other Tasks

• Completes additional tasks as assigned or requested

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field.
• Two (2) years' experience working in a healthcare setting.

Preferred:

• Three (3+) years' experience in a management role within a healthcare setting, with preference given to those with diagnostic imaging or clinical research experience.
