Join one of the top 5 cancer centers in the nation! Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute we seek to hire a full-time and experienced Hematologist who will contribute their excellent patient care skills and play a vital role in the development of our Myeloma Program for our new Lennar Foundation Cancer Center (LFCC) located in Irvine, California. The Irvine campus will include a $1 billion state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer campus.

Position Highlights:

Join our nationally recognized team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncology specialists as we seek to hire a full-time clinical faculty member:

  • State-of-the-art facilities: 73 bed hospital, 4 operating room suites, 8 bed ICU
  • Responsibilities to include participation in the multidisciplinary clinical care of patients, recruitment of eligible patients to clinical trials, and contribution of research and literature while providing compassionate patient-centered care
  • Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan

  • Relocation assistance may be available

  • Base Salary Range: $390K - $410K (Assistant Clinical to Associate Clinical Professor levels).The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Duties:

  • Clinical time is divided between inpatient and outpatient services
  • Opportunities for clinical/translational research, access to resources for clinical trials and grant mentorship

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
  • Board certified/eligible in Hematology
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience in malignant hematology with evidence of ability and desire to build a practice and think programmatically.
  • Experience in the care of autologous transplant and immune effector cell (IEC) patients
  • Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center that delivers both clinical and translational research to patients diagnosed with cancer *preferred but not required
  • Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant or early to mid-career Associate Professor
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted CA medical license
