JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Lehigh Valley invites applications for an innovative and inspiring leader to serve as the Director of Student Affairs. The Director of Student Affairs (DSA) is the senior student affairs officer at Penn State Lehigh Valley and advises the Chancellor on non-academic student life. The DSA will provide leadership and management for all Student Affairs units which includes, Counseling and Health Services, and Athletics, as well as student government, student conduct, and allocation of student fees to provide an excellent co-curricular student experience and sense of belonging for all students. The DSA also has responsibility for leading and supporting emerging and existing efforts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion; behavioral threat management and early intervention; sexual misconduct prevention and response; and collaborating with Student Affairs colleagues and leaders across Penn State and the Commonwealth Campuses to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities:
This position requires a master's degree or higher, plus 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
