The Information Networking Institute (INI) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) educates and develops engineers throughtechnical, interdisciplinary master's degree programsin information networking, security and mobile and IoT engineering that incorporate business and policy perspectives.

INI is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team!

Core Responsibilities:

• Hand out assignments & grade papers.
• Proctor examinations & record grades.
• Assist faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping and other miscellaneous projects.
• Obtain materials needed for classes, including texts & other materials. Prepare presentations for and/or deliver lectures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
