This opportunity is in the Finance Department.

Role Description:
In the role of Financial Operations Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative Finance and Accounting Department. You will work closely with department leadership and other team members to ensure efficient financial processes and compliance with policies. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:



  • Processing expense reports in Concur, ensuring adherence to reimbursement policies and procedures.
  • Escalating expense reporting anomalies or violations to Accounting Management.
  • Setting up new Concur account users and assisting with related questions/issues.
  • Processing bank deposits.
  • Assisting with annual 1099 processes, including requesting W-9 forms.
  • Preparing check requests as needed.
  • Supporting the Corporate American Express Program and associated reporting.
  • Preparing credit applications.
  • Maintaining and updating policies and procedures relevant to your role.
  • Supporting department leadership with administrative tasks such as document creation, retention/destruction, printing, scanning, filing, and meeting logistics.
  • Assisting with various other administrative duties as needed.


Qualifications:

Education:



  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.


Experience:



  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate setting.


Skills and Characteristics:



  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, organized, and accountable with a positive and mature attitude.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
  • A team player capable of adapting to ever-changing challenges and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with financial tools and platforms such as Concur and DocuSign.
  • Experience with corporate credit card programs.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
