The Radiology Department

Job Description

Provide administrative support in the Department of Radiology within the School of Medicine to faculty, residents and staff.

Administrative duties to include:

* Coordinate travel arrangements, including travel authorizations and submitting expense reports for travel reimbursement
* Maintains radiology clinical provider schedule template and call schedules
* Schedule meetings and appointments (in-person and Zoom)
* Create and/or edit correspondence, as needed
* Assist in tracking and recording physician activities for Mission Based Management
* Assist faculty in submitting promotion and tenure packet
* Updates faculty curriculum vitae in myVITA system annually

Cross-training to support workload in the following areas:

  • Department purchasing thru eProcurement including Show-Me Shop, vouchers, purchase orders, and subject payments
    Credentialing/privileging of clinical faculty including new appointments and reappointments
  • Medical license renewal
  • Annual mandatory training requirements
  • Record faculty absences for vacation/conferences.
  • Greet and assist office visitors.
  • Answer department phones and route calls to appropriate personnel
  • Answer routine office inquiries using acquired knowledge and procedures.

Complete required School of Medicine, Hospital, and System training modules as required for position.

Other Duties as assigned

Shift Type: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience with Microsoft Office

Hiring Range: $16.72 - $24.68
