The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data to ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and provides accurate, timely financial information. This role is critical for maintaining the financial health of the company, supporting decision-making, and ensuring transparency in financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc.). Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, etc.) and regulatory requirements. Provide detailed analysis of financial results, explaining variances, trends, and forecasting future financial performance. Prepare reports for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies. Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., accounting, operations) to ensure all financial data is captured accurately. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity. Ensure adherence to company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Work with internal and external auditors during audits to ensure all necessary documentation and explanations are provided. Collaborate with the finance team to assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Provide financial insights to help management make informed decisions regarding future investments, cost management, and growth opportunities. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the financial reporting process to increase efficiency and accuracy. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or other professional certifications preferred). Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling. Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and tax laws. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
