- Troubleshoot software on real-time operating system, including design, coding, as well as maintenance of software.
- Design the architecture of the functional modules
- Unit test the features you develop
- Maintain the software developed, providing support and technical assistance
- Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO 27001 program)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Candidates with Bachelors in CS, EE, will be more relevant. Master's degree a plus.
- Minimum 5 years' working experience in the area of packet core
- Packet core relevant 3GPP knowledge is required, such as network architecture, network elements and functions, call flows for 4G and 5G, etc.
- Wide Network protocol knowledge is required, such as IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, Diameter, Radius, GTP, GTPv2, PPPOE, L2TP, GRE, DNS, NTP, SNMP, SCTP, SIP, SSH, TLS, FTP, HTTP/HTTP2, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of Linux and programming languages (preferably scripting languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, shell)
- Knowledge (and experience if possible) of NFV (Network Function Virtualization), SDN, Virtualized Switching products and related virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU, Xen, Vmware ESXi) is a big plus.
- Experience in IP networking and Packet Core testing and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with networking test tools (IXIA, Spirent, IPerf, Wireshark, etc).
It would be nice if you also had:
- Proven aptitude for methodical problem solving, good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well in a close-knit team.
- Quick learner, self-starter.
