We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Manager, Shipment Value Protection (SVP) for our US Customs Brokerage team. This role will play a pivotal role in managing, growing, and enhancing the SVP program. This position requires a dynamic individual responsible for overseeing process controls, stakeholder management, and marketing and commercial activities to further promote and develop the product. You will monitor performance and collaborate with over 35 stations across the country, operating Air Freight (AFR), Ocean Freight (OFR), and Industrial Projects (IP) products, to ensure adherence to SVP processes and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
SVP Management:
- Administer the country's SVP program, including managing the annual budget and premium costs.
- Track and monitor SVP performance by product and sub-products using the SVP App in the Forwarding Reporting Platform (FRP) at country, area, product, and station levels.
- Control the process from quotation request through transmission and auto-rating, ensuring accurate billing in CW1.
- Monitor and minimize revenue leakage to maintain financial integrity.
- Provide recommendations and influence US stations and stakeholders to ensure adherence to SVP processes.
- Manage the issuance of certificates and user access to the AIG Platform as required by customers.
- Manage and maintain Annual Customer Agreements in SVP's repository.

Maintain visibility of reported claims related to sold SVP.

Collaborate with Regional and Global SVP contacts to support process improvement initiatives and promote digitalization.

Develop rapport with key stakeholders involved in the SVP program.
Rate Control and Quotations:
- Control rates configured in QuoteShop and MyDHLi Quote&Book.
- Justify rate change requests to the Global organization as needed.
- Validate ad-hoc, annual, and IP (Insurance Premium) pricing templates for products requesting special rates and premiums, particularly for low-risk exceeding 2M or medium risks exceeding 500k.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to stakeholders across different stations, products, and departments.
- Collaborate with the responsible parties, such as GBS Risk, for technical product-specific issues or training.
Commercial:
- Maintain a pipeline of target SVP customers, including ad-hoc or contract customers.
- Align with the Commercial sales force to support the execution of the SVP pipeline and promote SVP development for continuous growth.
- Participate in the selling cycle as needed to secure business.
- Lead and manage campaigns to increase SVP penetration in the country's portfolio.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing insurance or value protection programs within the logistics or insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, rate structures, and billing processes.
- Familiarity with insurance software platforms and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and track performance, minimize revenue leakage, and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to provide training and support to stakeholders across different stations, products, and departments.
- Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to sales initiatives and campaigns.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
