Responsibilities

The Regional Pharmacy Director is responsible for enhancing hospital pharmacy operations through interdisciplinary collaboration and site-level oversight. Coordinates with the Vice President of Pharmacy Services, Corporate Clinical Pharmacy Director, and hospital pharmacy leadership in the implementation, development, prioritization, and execution of all pharmacy activities. Responsible for the implementation and oversight of pharmacy services, strategies, achieving benchmarks, and maintaining satisfactory outcomes to the business plans and financial goals of the organization. Scope of work includes but is not limited to regulatory and accreditation compliance, medication safety, inventory and medication management optimization, personnel management and clinical and operational strategy.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

    Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  1. B.S. degree in Pharmacy required
  2. 3 - 5 years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Experience with hospital pharmacy systems (EMR/ADC/IV Pump), spreadsheets, word processing programs, and other databases required.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. PharmD preferred
  2. MBA preferred
  3. Residency preferred
