Know Your Rights: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2022-10/EEOC_KnowYourRights_screen_reader_10_20.pdf Responsibilities The Director of Medication Safety & Diversion Management is responsible for oversight and management of systematic initiatives related to medication quality and safety programs, identifying opportunities to improve the safety of medication-use systems, drug diversion monitoring/prevention, and developing error and drug diversion prevention strategies targeted to reduce patient and associate safety risks. The Director of Medication Safety & Diversion Management will facilitate the increased reporting of adverse drug events, perform follow up on reported occurrences, review drug diversion cases, oversee analysis of data, and assist in development and implementation of process changes to improve medication safety and drug diversion prevention. This individual serves as a liaison to pharmacy, nursing, and the medical staff leadership personnel. The Director of Medication Safety & Diversion Management provides leadership in formulating policy and instituting models that promote medication safety and drug diversion prevention in all aspects of the medication management process. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Required qualifications:
Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
