Fuel Engineering Technologiesis looking for an graduate engineer to join the Reactor Technologies & Methods team and perform, and provide technical leadership in design, development, training, performance, and delivery of complex products and services.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Advancement/Maintenance of Core Engineering Software and Automation Products.
  
  
  
  1. Engage with Fuel Engineering Methods experts and end users to understand the areas for improvement & automation.
  2. Development of software & automation tools to improve quality and efficiency
  3. Engage with Fuel Engineering Technology end users to support implementation and feedback
  4. Coordination with software development to maintain automation and tools
  
  
  
  
• Perform software engineering design and testing in support of the Westinghouse nuclear analysis, utility, and related code systems
• Participating in training to obtain qualifications in the Core Engineering and/Software Design functional areas.
• Supporting general Core Engineering Design codes, procedure and methods development and updates.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Discipline (e.g. Materials, Mathematics etc.) preferred or recognized equivalent required
• 0-3 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines
  
  
  
  • Nuclear Engineering/Physics
  • Mechanical/Materials Engineering
  • Software/Computer Engineering/Mathematics
  
  
  
  
• Experience with modern programming languages such as C/C++, Fortran 95/2003, Java, Python, or C#/.NET

Preferred:

• Nuclear Industry experience
• Knowledge of Westinghouse nuclear code suite (APA)
• Working understanding of data modeling approaches
• Experience in software projects that follow software engineering standards (requirements, design, implementation, testing)
• Experience with source code version control systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in an international team-oriented environment
